Optomap wide field retinal imaging

Optomap takes a panoramic photo of the back of the eye in a quick, painless scan. A single image captures up to 200°, or 82% of the retina, compared with a much smaller view from traditional cameras. This wide view helps us find problems in the outer edges of the retina, such as tears, detachments, and signs of diabetes or high blood pressure. Many patients can be screened this way without dilation.
